SDoL Guest Network

Published on March 2, 2022 in Office of Technology

SDoL provides a Guest network within the District. This network is for use by NON-SDoL employees, such as presenters, vendors, TW Ponessa, health clinics, student teachers, non-classroom use, etc. The SDoL guest network should not be used with district-owned devices or personal devices such as phones, smartwatches, laptops, etc. Any device that is allowed to connect to the SDoL Guest network should not be used by a student without adult supervision as this is a less restrictive network to allow presenters, vendors, etc. to function within our district. The SDoL guest network is protected by a password that changes monthly. This password is shared with authorized personnel at each site location to provide to appropriate SDoL Guest Network users.

All wireless networks within the district share the same bandwidth. That is why staff should follow these guidelines so we can maximize our technology for the instruction and support service of the district.

Please be advised any device found not to conform with the guidelines mentioned above will be removed from wireless access. Please contact the Office of Technology with any additional questions or concerns regarding these guidelines.
