The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has announced updated bid and quote thresholds, effective on January 1, 2021. Purchases between $10,000 and $21,300 require a minimum of 3 competitive quotes, or use of a cooperative purchasing agreement. Any purchase over $21,300 requires public bidding or a competitive RFP process, requiring a minimum of 8 weeks to complete. The Purchasing Threshold Matrix has been updated for 2021.
