Synergy Training – Non-Employees and Position Changes

An automated process has been created to reach out to new non-employees and employees changing positions that may need Synergy training. Based on information from a SAAF, individuals are flagged that may need training (non-employee that has never worked in the district, etc.) and an e-mail is sent with contact information. Updates to Student GPA in ParentVUE/StudentVUE

A recent update was made to only show the cumulative weighted GPA in ParentVUE and StudentVUE for students in grades 9-13. Previously, the weighted and non-weighted GPAs were displayed but there was no indication which was which.

Elementary Report Card Posting Video

The instructional video on how to post elementary report card grades has been simplified to only contain the steps needed for report card grades. A separate video has been created for the elementary gradebook (creating assignments, linking/scoring competencies). These videos can be found on the Knowledge Base video section, under TeacherVUE.

Marking Period Grading Information Dashboard

As a reminder, a dashboard is available that shows teachers and staff important information related to marking period grade entry. The dashboard  is updated every day with a countdown to the number of days until grade files open as well as documentation on how to enter grades.
